WSPR software is able to transmit a WSPR signal at least to 22kHz just by selecting the TX frequency to the chosen frequency . For example , if you want to send WSPR at 8.970kHz just select the band as other set the dial frequency to 0.000kHz and set TX frequency to 0.00897kHz . Listening to the tone it definitely is at the frequency . stated What I haven't determined yet is how high the WSPR software will decode at . When I tried WSPR some time ago on 8.97kHz I used my up-converter and FT817 as the receiver . When I tried to decode directly

Well this is why we play Ham radio. At least this is why I play Ham Radio. Here's a fresh recording of me working S21YZ on 20 Meters tonight. At least I THINK I worked S21YZ. There seems to be two stations running on the same frequency after listening to the recording several times. I guess I'll know tomorrow if I worked Bangladesh or somebody else. I'm really hoping it's S21. That was everything I could do to filter his signal. I added some APF and a little attenuation to try to bring him up out of the noise. We shall soon see if N0UN made it into the S21YZ Online Log when it's updated. Fingers are crossed.
