Well this is why we play Ham radio. At least this is why I play Ham Radio. Here's a fresh recording of me working S21YZ on 20 Meters tonight. At least I THINK I worked S21YZ. There seems to be two stations running on the same frequency after listening to the recording several times. I guess I'll know tomorrow if I worked Bangladesh or somebody else. I'm really hoping it's S21. That was everything I could do to filter his signal. I added some APF and a little attenuation to try to bring him up out of the noise. We shall soon see if N0UN made it into the S21YZ Online Log when it's updated. Fingers are crossed.

It's a good time to be chasing DX. After scoring S21YZ on both Phone and CW and VU4PB on Phone, I still needed VU4PB on CW. Enter the Longpath via the South Pole on 20 Meters. He was light signal and the pile was enormous but we still managed to bag him tonight. Clean sweep for both CW and Phone from these two DXpeditions.

I'm looking forward to seeing Icom's remote control software in action. I hope the price is right and it will work well with my setup. Based on their diagrams it looks like a simple connection (USB) to a Icom IC-7600, IC-7200 or IC-9100 .
I could certainly see using my IC-7600 ...

Odyssey Dawn operation in Libya can be followed on some of most popular military frequencies, but we know that all important communications are encripted and use satellite. So dont’ expect to hear any interesting communication.
If you are looking for frequencies, there are some Yahoo Groups devoted to this kind of informations, but even some popular blogs and websites.
